Claudia Soto Mansilla
Born on June 23, 1969 in Santiago, Chile.
After the military coup, my family went into exile in Cuba, then in France, where I live.
I studied Religious Anthropology and Prehistory, before turning to audiovisual and more specifically film writing.
I teach several workshops at the San Antonio de los Baños Film and Television School in Cuba.
“Children of the Thousand Days” is my first film as a writer and director.

Jaco Bidermann – 45 years old
Graduated from the Ecole nationale Louis Lumière, Photography Department, in 1990.
A freelance photographer until 1995, he then participated in a series of projects and exhibitions around photography, including “L’Affiche vivante” in 2002 and 2004. He also photographed Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon for the association “Clowns sans frontières” in 2006.
Photographer and creator for the exhibition “Corps Accord” in 2007.
Technician and lighting designer for the company “Les Souffleurs”. For the Joubran Trio, during concerts and for the tribute to Mahmoud DARWICH where he is also scenographer.
He has also worked for various exhibitions such as “Sunken Cities of Egypt” at the Grand Palais in Paris and the Louvre in Qatar.
